2012-Going from “Good to Great”
As we approach a brand new year, I continue to be in awe of God's goodness upon this ministry. He has done so many great things! We celebrated 20 years of ministry in November-to God be the glory. God has used many wonderful volunteers and partners to help us restore, build, establish and settle people through the teaching and ministry of His word. We received countless testimonies in 2011 of God's faithfulness in the lives of His people. Like the single mom, who stepped out on faith one Sunday and gave all she had ($7) as a sacrificial seed. She had been believing God for some special services and equipment for her special needs child. She had already encountered so many challenges. Well praise God, as a result of that seed sown, she received a phone call shortly after the sowing of that seed, that she would be receiving the services she needed. There were countless other testimonies of open doors for jobs of those who had been unemployed. What a mighty God we serve!
We have marked 2012 as the year that we are going from "GOOD TO GREAT." The term good and great appear to be the same in definition; however, they differ in several respects. Good means suitable, valid, genuine, thorough, honorable, and proper. Great means to be of much more than ordinary size, larger, superior, elaborate, huge, remarkable in magnitude, degree or effectiveness, marked by enthusiasm, exceptionally outstanding, first rate, high significance, extraordinary, and extraordinary power (ability and capability). Over 2000 years ago, God had a plan, to bring about GREATNESS in the earth. When Adam sinned, God put in motion a GREATER plan to redeem mankind back to his original purpose-to multiply, subdue and have dominion in the earth. That plan came in the way of our GREAT Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Upon our acceptance of Him, we became joint-heirs with Him, and that same greatness came to live on the inside of us. This year God desires for us to display and demonstrate His greatness in the earth, so much so that it will be "breath-taking" to all we come in contact with, and they will want to experience it for themselves-this is Kingdom manifestation. He wants us to show forth the elaborate, exceptionally outstanding, extraordinary power that he has given you. So stand with us as we go from good to GREAT in EVERY area of our lives-spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, in our relationships, in our love walk, and in our giving of ourselves and our resources.
Our prayer is that this will be a life changing year of GREATNESS for you. Thank you in advance for your part in helping us to bring about "breath-taking greatness in the lives of every person we come in contact with. As you partner with us, we agree with you that, "God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]." II Corinthians 9:8 (AMP)
