As we approach the last year of our "Taking the Journey" Capital Campaign, we thank all of you for being a faithful part of OWCM. Over 2 years ago, we embraced a vision of a more effective ministry to our community.

Are you ready to take the journey?
First, ask God what you are to do
Sacrificial giving usually moves us outside of our comfort zone and stretches our faith as we take steps to give beyond our normal tithes and gifts. Let the amount of your gift be a matter of prayer each day as you seek to find what God wants you to give. "For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. But they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will."2 Corinthians 8: 3&5
Second, discuss it
Individuals and families should take time to discuss this matter and seek God's guidance. It is a perfect time for the entire family to be involved in the decision you make. We are building for our future generations as well. Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise." Deuteronomy 6: 6-7

Once you pray and faithfully seek God's guidance, then express that faith on a commitment card. The challenge that God has placed before us will only become a reality through the sacrificial commitment of us all. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9: 7
